There were eight rooms to explore in the Dean St townhouse, each showcasing a different type of sugar from Tate & Lyle's range of golden and brown sugars. One of my favourite treats on offer was actually in between rooms though - banister after banister of macarons from Miss Insomnia Tulip. I plucked a pale green one from it's spot on the stairs (turned out to be peppermint) and then found another meringue based wonder in the Mediterranean themed bedroom - a rainbow rug from the clever Meringue Girls.
I also loved the gingerbread wreath on the front door from Nevie-Pie Cakes and resisted the urge to take a bite out of that one. All very good training for the sweet fest that Easter has brought this year (not that I need an excuse but our niece is visiting for the weekend).
