I was so proud to make the cakes for our friends Jon & Kate's beautiful London wedding. The centre piece was a very tall six layer chocolate Guinness cake with alternating chocolate fudge and salted caramel buttercream icing. I love how raspberries look with chocolate and the red cake bunting was inspired by Coco Cupcake. There was also a colourful selection of cute mini fruit tarts filled with custard, blackberries, raspberries and pomegranate, mini Victoria sponge cakes and mini cupcakes in rhubarb and rose, choc raspberry, salted caramel and lemon with a lemon curd filling.
Kate looked amazing in her beaded cream dress and red lipstick and there were flashes of red in lots of the detail. The cake pops followed suit and wore red lips too!
